AFTER LEAVING NISHIMACHI

Among the 236 Nishimachi graduates who finished the ninth grade between 1997 and 2007, over 34% chose to study overseas. The remaining 66% of the graduates chose to stay in Japan and progressed to reputable international high schools or private Japanese schools in the Tokyo area. All Nishimachi graduates continue on to complete their higher education. In Japan, their university selections include International Christian University, Keio University, Sophia University, and Waseda University. The list of preferred colleges and universities abroad includes Berklee College of Music, Boston University, Brown University, Georgetown University, Harvard University, University of Chicago, Stanford University, Yale University, and the University of Bath.

The careers of Nishimachi alumni vary and naturally reflect individual interests and talents. Many former students choose to work in fields with an international and multicultural perspective.
