STUDENT LEARNING SUPPORT SERVICES

The learning support services team, consists of the school counselor, the ES/MS principals, the learning support teacher, and the ESL specialist. They meet on a regular basis to make recommendations concerning students with individual learning needs. Tutoring

When a student is experiencing serious difficulty in an academic area and cannot keep up with class work, outside tutoring may be recommended by the school. The school will advice and assist parents in finding an appropriate tutor. The school takes no responsibility for tutoring fees and payments, which must be made directly to the tutor. Nishimachi teachers follow strict guidelines and are not permitted to tutor their own students.
