Last year, our then Grade 2 kids helped raise funds through their "gently used TOY SALE" for the Community Service Committee's, "Build a School" project, for Tacloban, Philippines. This year, the "gently used TOY SALE", a Grade 3 initiative, will focus on raising funds for the KIRIVORN school in Cambodia, a Nishimachi sponsored school.
During Monday 18 Jan '16 - Friday 22 Jan '16 there will be the "gently used TOY SALE"! The toys will be sold at 100 yen per toy. Of course parents and students are welcome to pay more if they so wish!! Let's help our children experience the joy of giving, of lending a hand to others, helping those less fortunate and inculcate the NISHIMACHI SPIRIT OF GENEROSITY!!
