It was a busy Saturday for the middle school, with all teams participating for the first time this season.
The cross country team ran well in some beautiful weather and set some personal bests to shoot for next week.
The coed soccer team played hard, but lost their B team match 21 with Riki scoring a great goal, while the A team lost 50, but saw Shawn make lots of great saves. Both teams improved throughout the match, with the A team setting a good foundation for next weekend's games with some good teamwork.
The girls volleyball A team were outclassed by St. Maur in 2 games, and had a narrow loss to YIS in three games. The B team beat St. Maur in 2 games, but lost to YIS in a tight 3 game >match. The C team were the definite success story of the weekend, winning both their matches in straight games after putting in an extra 2 hour practice session on Friday night! >
