School Year 2017-2018 begins!

Welcome to the 2017/2018 school year. We are excited, and there is already a huge buzz around Nishimachi.
A very special welcome to all our 62 new families, most of whom have joined us from overseas.
Some facts and figures....
- School officially began yesterday with 463 students in attendance, which is a record.
- Total enrolment is up by 68 students (17%) compared to August 2016.
- Middle School enrolment is up by 35% compared to August 2016.
- We have started extra classes in Grades 4, 5 and 8.
- We have students from 32 different countries attending.
- There are 111 new students, from 62 new families.
- Retention of existing students from last year is 88%, compared to 78% 3 years ago.
